Robobrew display has condensation was created by James Laos
Hi all,

4th go on the Robo 3 yesterday, and I am happy with it so far and my efficiency is improving.
But yesterday got my sparge water wrong as there was still wort dripping through the grain and the Robobrew level was maxed out.
Spilt some wort on the display and the numbers went a bit wonky but came good at the end of the boil.
When cleaning up noticed condensation on the inside of the display, tried to get rid of it with the missus hairdryer but it came back.
Anyone had issues like this before and can you get to / remove the display easily to check them out?

Any thoughts?

Cheers

James

Sparge water no big deal, but the wort that made the numbers go wonky is a bit strange! It must of got inside the unit somehow? I haven't had that issue. They are easy to disassemble but not sure about the very front of the screen, thats a strange one mate. Maybe take the bottom off and take a look and let it dry right out? Let me know how you go. Cheers!

Thanks Gash.
The sparge water /wort was still dripping down when I moved the malt pipe out of the boiler.
I over sparged, but anyway I will flip the Robo upside down and take the screws out and have a look underneath

Cheers

I have condensation in one of the toggle switches. I doubt this rig will last forever.

Thats odd, mate, not even sure how that happens. check you dont have a leak underneath.. even then the switch is fairly enclosed.. hmm odd.. I wouldnt expect any system like this to last forever, but mine have been going for years batch after batch no issues, even with some fairly big spills on it. Cheers!
