Just be aware it's fairly bitter and hoppy! You can drop the flameout hops from 40g to 30g if you like. Cheers!

Love a good hoppy beer. Might ease up on the hops though. What water profile do you recommend for this one?

any chance of getting a beersmith download of this? I've just tried the"real" version and wouldn't mind brewing a batch.

Gday Gash. Just about to brew the hop hog recipe and have noticed a difference between the the recipes you have shared. One recipe “Hop Hog O6” via BeerSmith asks for Vienna malt. The other recipe listed above mentions no Vienna. I just wanted to clarify before I crushed the grain as you seemed happy with the end result despite what looked like a tough brew day. Thank you mate.

Sorry mate, umm it doesnt really matter its all about the hops, I've used munich too. It will be just fine without either munich or vienna. I'm sort of at the point where I automatically throw munich into everything without thinking. It was very likely the case with the vienna. Cheers!
