SOBA NZ National Home Brew Competition

Is anyone else entering the SOBA competition here in New Zealand?. Ive entered my Export Scottish Ale.
Im trying to get above 24 points for a brew at other comps. Alot has changed in my brew process over the last year trying to work on things like astringancy, oxidation, DMS,out of style
lacks luster, lacks effort, and hardley drinkable.
But this year will be different and its my first National comp. Ive worked hard at my craft, Ive been out there brewing it, tasting it, getting personal with it , living it.

Whoa!!!!!! Cant believe it, Silver Medal with 38 points. Im wrapped .Thanks Gash for your tips they have obviously been a game changer for my brewing. Cheers. Time for a sly pint me thinks.hehe
