It sounds like a cracker recipe. I had a simcoe single hopped red ale recently which was quite nice and summer is a nice hop so it should be delicious.

This finished 1062 down to 1020 giving 5.6% abv, however it is quite sweet at 1020 and i think that's because i used S04.The head on this from the keg is nuts,i only gave it 24 hours on 40psi with no rolling, just crash chilling and it is very foamy.Tastes good enough but too sweet, another strange thing it taste very thick,i did an RIS before and it reminds me of that when drinking.

A successful brew but room for improvement my end,i will definitely be brewing this again,i think yet again my old hops let me down on this one.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
