Bryan's Amber Red Ale was created by xenon
My recipes haven't yet reached the level of other members in terms of details.

Anywho ya'll get the idea.

4.4kg UK Pale
465gr Pale Crystal
465gr Munich
230gr Cara Aroma
230 Victory Malt
50gr Pale Chocolate

17g Southern Cross 60 mins Sorachi Ace will do the same if Southern X
15gr NZ/Aussie Cascade 10min
15gr US Centennial 10min
20gr NZ/Aussie Cascade 3min
20gr US Centennial 3min
20gr NZ/Aussie Cascade Dry Hop day 4
20gr US Centennial Dry Hop day 4

Mash Temp 68 deg C for 60 min (I mash for 90)
Boil 60 min

US-05

So ended up with a pre boil gravity of 1.042 and an OG of 1.052. Start volume was 36 L in the finish and smidge under 25L in the fermenter. Could be because when calculating recipes they dont have NZ grain but my efficiency is still below what i'd expect and i'm not sure why.

one of these days i'll get beer smith...
