Hoping to brew this recipe soon,i reckon i will have to grow up the Bohemian Lager yeast unless i can get another couple packs delivered in time.I will be brewing this at ale temps so should be interesting to say the least. :ohmy:

NB : Made a mistake when brewing this batch,added 3lt extra sparge water because i forgot about adding the mash out water.Also did not take into account that adding and washing out the extract tin would increase final volume dramatically(2.5lt extra from using the extract tin).

Pitched 1 x M84 yeast starter @ 10.30hrs 15/06/2016.

Mangrove Jacks M84 Bohemian Lager Yeast was BB 12/2015 so grew a stareter 12 hrs previous to pitching using simple table sugar solution. This batch is being brewed at ale temperatures.

OG was originally 1042/26.5lt and on advice of Gash i added 290gr table sugar 15/06/2016 about 12hrs after pitching yeast. This was to adjust OG from 1042-1047 giving a better abv and aiding attenuation.

Batch had dropped from 1047-1010 after only 3 days(18/06/2016) so i put whole Fv into kitchen fridge to crash chill for two days.

Kegged 19.00hrs 20/06/2016 rocked and rolled at 45psi for 3mins,beer was already chilled to around 9C in kitchen fridge.

Kegged : 19.0lt.

Bottled : 5.0lt(bottles to be left in kitchen press for minimum two weeks to carbonate,used 1/2tsp per 500ml table sugar solution for priming).

OG : 1047.

FG : 1010.

ABV : 4.9%abv.

Hi Gash,i did your Choc Vanilla stout recipe. I added 2 vanilla beans in the boil and nothing later. Tasted it yesterday and it was more coffee flavour than choc and no hint of vanilla. what should i do. should i add 50g on Vanilla ext in the keg?

It takes about 10 days with a good yeast pitch, but you can use Kveik yeast and ferment at 35c if possible and have it done in under 7 days. Cheers!

Hi guys, i will be brewing coopers neipa in few days. Can you plz tell me minimum how many days it was fermented. Im under pressure as i have to fill up few kegs for my Birthday party.
