Ok so guys i have a question. I have a lot of fresh pressed apple juice here that i got about four days ago, so its about five days pressed. I dosed both containers with campden at a rate of two tablets per gallon. Now i will be pitching lavin Ec-1118 into one and Youngs cider yeast into the other. Thing is i see the other lads that got this stuff using yeast nutrient and i will not have any for at least another 3 days. Do i just pitch away without and see ? Could i pitch now and add the nutrient when i get it ?






The blend we got is

50% Dabinette ( a well know cider apple godd flavour and good for Tannin )
25% Bramley ( fav. cooker - good for acidity )
25% Cevaal ( also known as Red Windsor or Alkmene - good desert apple like a cox's pippin - sweet honeyed notes good perfume )

Kit Brew Day Tomorrow, Black Rock Pale ale and number 40 larger brew enhancer by mangrove jacks. And possibly some honey. Yeast US05 ??

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
