Thanks for the quick reply! I’m about a week into fermenting and the yeast is well above the tap if my plastic fermenter :) I will leave it for another week or two and use a racking cane to check my gravity before going any further. Thanks so much for the detailed reply. I’ll let you know how I go!

Thought I'd give you an update. I lagered in the bottle after racking to another fermenter. and after 3 to 4 weeks of layering, everything went perfect! Thanks for the advice. Now I need to get my head around PHing my water as I get a similar aftertaste to all my beers. Will most likely go back to a Pale next as the lagering process is too long! I need to drink my beers!!!
