Boil out Chlorine. was created by Finnroo
We havnt had chlorine in our water supply for very long. So when we did i decided to use half of a campton tablet. However i always breboiled my brewing liquor so is it really necessary to use a campton tab? Id rather not if i dont need to. I seem to remember you saying a while back that they both do the same thing. Cheers

I've never preboiled my water but I either leave it open overnight and the chlorine dissipates or I use Sodium Metabisulfite which near instantly gets rid of it, Campden tablets are a form of Metabisulfite. Cheers!

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
