I got around to trying this recipe. Its a good representation of a NEIPA and compares well with Ferals "Biggie juice" so a big thankyou to Gash for his efforts. I did change the hops around a little and done 2 dry hops instead of 1 bigger one unlike Gash . I am getting a real fruity taste with plenty of orange taste so you could have it for breakfast if you like . Some sweet bubble gum on the nose and a full body mouth feel. Next time I will add the 1st hops addition straight after flame out and let them sit for 5 mins before cooling to 80 Deg to get it a little more bite (Like ferals B G) so for me its a 9/10
cheers everyone and happy new year

It doesnt taste like 56ibu to me, but if you want it more like the not bitter ones do the whirlpool under 80c. then you'll be mainly just getting the 18ibu from the 60min.

I've had bitter ones and non bitter ones commercially, i just prefer the bitter ones, theres no true set style just yet, and that recipe wasn't truly designed as a NEIPA, but looking at most recipes around there isnt much difference its just an IPA or Pale Ale with some form of flaked grain added plus they adjust water a little different.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
