Decided the other day to do up a Brown Porter based off a past recipe that turned out ok but a bit thin,wrote it up on Beersmith,then i was having my oats for brekkie and i had a brain fart(again) so below is what i am brewing tonight,strike water heating now,using a slightly different mash profile to what i normally do,fingers crossed. :D

Pre Boil Volume : 29.0 litres.

Pre Boil Gravity : 1038.

Post Boil Volume : 24.5 litres.

Post Boil Gravity : 1047.

Pitched two packs of kit yeast from firdge @12.00hrs 29/10/2015,fermentation kicked off after 30 minutes. :woohoo:

Kit Brew Day Tomorrow, Black Rock Pale ale and number 40 larger brew enhancer by mangrove jacks. And possibly some honey. Yeast US05 ??

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
