I know those cost analysis are not really relevant to this post and sorry for that.I just thought it might be interesting for anyone reading this post to see what a typical BIPA order would cost over in Ireland. I have to say i am surprised at the expense of it, would not have thought it would cost that much TBH. However you will not be using 100grams of all those hops in any of these two brews so you will at least have a good stock built up

N.B. I blame Gash it's all his fault really :P

yep it is about building up stock too, I'd contact these places and see if you buy in bulk if its cheaper, I used to buy my Dry Malt in 5kg bags, has to be stored right but it lasts well. or else pick out a dark ale kit and we'll just try and hop it up for you. Or even just a plain ale but that'll need a grain steep imo. Euro sucks! :)

somewhere said you get this in it.
2 bags of LME
650g Dextrose
75g IPA hop pellets (50g+25g bags) Simco, Centennial & Summit
10g IPA yeast
100g priming sugar

so is just about complete I reckon, you could always blacken it if you wanted by adding extra stuff , but also might be good just try on its own.

its had some good reviews

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
