Fermcap alternative. was created by peter01010101
G'day brewers. I have been trying to source some Fermcap, or a suitable alternative. My LHBS doesn't stock it, though it does keep Distillers Conditioner which is supposedly a silicone antifoam (though Still Spirits doesn't list the ingredients on the bottle). Does anyone know if this is a suitable alternative to Fermcap, or be able to suggest something that is?
Cheers.

I have seen you use an alternative on your videos and wondered where you got it. Thanks Gash.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
