Can anyone offer a recipe for a Newcastle Brown - English northern ale.
Or offer a link to one.

are you looking at an extract brew or looking at all grain

you may get more ideas and a recipe if ya tell us how you want to brew

I have my tried and tested brown ale from my modified version of the Gladfield malt brown ale. Cant say if its like the Newcastle brown but its a stunning brown all the same. Give it a go. Cheers mate.

Im easy whether all grain or mixed. Im just trying to find a tried and tested , Newcastle Brown recipe. It has its own unique taste.

The original was a blended ale, but Im sure there are some of these recipes that are close! Cheers!

Kit Brew Day Tomorrow, Black Rock Pale ale and number 40 larger brew enhancer by mangrove jacks. And possibly some honey. Yeast US05 ??
