Eff me...I haven't heard the lips in 30+ years. Christ...i'm showing my age...lol. Big shirt collars, bell bottoms and dodgy knitwear, the hallmark of 70's fashion..lol. I think they reformed the band a fair while back. I have to say Finn, if you like Horslips...then you really have to have a listen to Rory Gallagher, especially the Irish tour, recorded at the Ulster Hall, Belfast in the early 70's. The man was an amazing guitarist, sadly died far too young...lived fast, died young. Have a wee listen.

Yeah , years ago I got into Irish and Norse mythology after researching a song by thin Lizzy called the black rose a rock legend (Roshin Dubh)
Learning about Cuchuliann and Queen Meave etc and reading an old book called The Tain which lead me to the Horslips album of the same name. I listen Jethro Tull with heavy Horses and songs from the wood being my 2 favs. Havnt listened to Gallagher for many years but great guitar player. Cheers mate.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
