3v Brewing setup complete was created by m3taL_Brewer
Well iv got my 3v on the cheap setup done going to give her a test run this weekend...

HLT is a 25l bucket with a 2400w element in it (its a few years old got it of another brewer who was finished with it works well)

Mashtun is 25L Esky cooler (also free) and iv used HP PVC 20mm tube to make a manifold

Boil pot (again free) 35 L Aluminum stock pot also got a 2 ring burner (yes free) that gets her boiling well....

Been playing with a recipie for a beer that i made as an extract which was

1 tin coopers light malt ext
500g Dry Wheat Malt
500g Dry light malt
500g Dextrose
250g Crystal 60

hop Schedule was

16g POR @ 60
16 POR @ 40
10g Cascade @ 20
10g Cascade @5
16g cascade @ flame out

23 L Brew
35 IBU
1047 OG
Ferm @ 20-24c US-05 yeast

looking for some info to convert this to a AG bill....

Some Pale Malt, Carapils, Wheat, Crystal 60...... is what im thinking prob keep the hop schedule might bulk up the flame out addition :P

i'll probably chill this version then no chill once iv got it down pat...

also will be able to keep ferm at 18 - 19c with the temp control now....

This recipe can be converted but to make it true and try and get it right, we really need more info on your extracts, the fermentabilty (usually 50-75%) etc, usually this information can be found on the manufacturers website, but if you know who made it I can give it a go if you like!

What size boil did you use for the extract version and what ingredients did you add to the boil, times etc (not the hops)

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
