The Bible Olde Ale. was created by Dullahan Brewing
Knocked this up last night, took all day to boil(farking elements tripping),yeast choice on this has gone from s33 to s04 to MJ M24,and finally to mangrove jacks M27 Belgian Ale yeast,i settled on this at the very last second simply because i felt it would accentuate the malts the best.

It is going to be a real pisser of a beer,24.0 litres OG 1086.

Looks like an interesting brew! Gunna be a big one! I'm interested in why it's only a 45min mash though?

This one is going into the keg for conditioning until Christmas,it's going to be my winter warmer. Not sure but for some reason Beersmith gave me a mash time of 45 minutes for this one ?

Also even though it says S33 yeast there i have S04 coming as well so opinions on which to use Gash would be appreciated.

Both would work S33 doesnt flocculate as well so will leave beer a little more cloudy but add and lengthen some flavour in the mouth. S04 will clear well. I'd be thinking of pitching 2 packs it that big beer, may not be totally necessary but would help!

I was thinking the same so i ordered four packs S04 and one pack S33,so i have two packs of S04 for this brew alone,or i could pitch one pack S33 and one pack S04 ?

I've never mixed yeasts, but I have heard people do. Maybe experiment :P brew for a week with S33 see how it goes, then add the S04 to clean it up at the end???? People do that with certain yeasts, but these are both pretty neutral so probably wouldn't do much.

I have decided what i am going to do is take off a couple litres into a demijohn and use s33 on that, then the main batch pitch two packs s04,and compare both,i have used s04 before so i kinda know what to expect but have never use s33. :woohoo:

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
