I've started a new thread with a newer version, including a mash profile. Cheers

UPDATED VERSION - 1/1/2017

Latest version, it seems Beersmith changed grain absorption rates and a few other things that seemed to mess with my last profile, this one should fix those issues.

Just make sure its the latest Beersmith and that you choose a BIAB mash schedule. Ignore the water volume amount it says to mash in with, BS seems to think all BIAB is full volume mash, which it isn't! So I usually mash in with 18-20 litres depending on grain bill. And sparge until I hit the 28 to 29 litre mark, usually a good 28L maybe a touch over. All up its usually around 32L but varies with different types of grain and your crush etc. (18L mash, 14L Sparge) (20L mash, 12L Sparge. approx) Boils vary too, but this has got me pretty close, on inspection you'll find some weird numbers that don't make sense in the equipment profile, but it works.

The batch amount is also set to 23L, even though you'll probably only get around 20L out unless you tip up the Robobrew after at the end and get another few litres out. We set it at 23L because it helps with calculations within BS.

Cheers Gash, enjoy the vids and picking up my RoboBrew tomorrow after work. Been BIAB and 3V so should be fairly straightforward.

Keen to taste the results.

Hi guys, just installed the trial version of Beersmith on my laptop. I have downloaded this equipment profile and can open it in Beersmith, but when I save it even after renaming it. It just disappears and can not be selected as a profile. Any ideas?

Cheers

Once you have it opened in beersmith, just right click and copy then go to the menu on the left hand side and click profiles - equipment then right click and paste. :)

Hi Gash, are you able to screen shot this profile and post it here?
I only have an iPad and there's no way to copy the link and open it anywhere including beersmith.
I've also noticed on Beersmith mobile, there is no real sparge option. Is it the same on beersmith desktop?

Bottled my Scottish ale and all went very well, washed 2 jars of yeast and that looks good too. Brew day tomorrow just preparing the liquor now. Was a bit worried about doing the yeast thing again but decided to get back on the pony and move forward. :D
