i've actually just done an updated one, which seems a bit closer for me anyway, I'll replace that one up the top. What I also did was drop the grain absorption which can be found in the beersmith options/advanced the first setting. I changed it to .66

The Robobrew profile has been updated again, I seemed to be having some issues since the Beersmith update came out. Hopefully this version sorts that out! Please read description completely in post #1 Cheers!

G'day Gash, been reading this site for a while but first time posting. (Most of my 3 vessel setup was following your Youtube howtos).
I have just ordered a new model Robobrew, the one with the pump. I was originally thinking of using the Grainfather profile in BS but this profile should still be pretty close to the figures do you think? I'm thinking there might just be a tad more deadspace with the pump & pipe.

G'day, yeah I'd give this one a go, the grainfather one hasn't been working for people, see how you go! You'll end up with beer regardless. Cheers mate!

G'day again Gash. Took delivery of the Robobrew (with pump) today. Did a bit of a cleaning run and measured the dead space both from the tap (1500ml) and emptying from the pump (1000ml). This seems a lot less that the original model at 3.4L. Also, I've had a look at the latest Grainfather (modified) profile from their forum - their deadspace is also 3.4L. I'm looking at amending my Beersmith profile but worried that maybe 1.5L isn't enough to leave behind all the hop and protein junk. What do you think? Make it 1.5L or leave it as it is and just stop at 20L in the fermenter?
Cheers.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
