That recipe I posted was meant to be 10g mosaic in the whirlpool not 20g, 20g is what I used in the video , but it would be much more balanced with only 10g, but if you like mosaic and it extra hoppy, go for it!

Thanks for the profile.

Using my mates Robobrew today and used your profile.
Seems like after a 60 min boil I have way to much wort.
Did a reading and now boiling for longer. Almost at the 90 min mark and still got plenty of wort. Over 25 litres.

Any ideas?

I mashed in with 18L and sparged 14L approx

Hmm thats odd, what are you were you after? I did a brew yesterday and used 18L mash plus 1L for a step mash, and then sparged with 15.8L . boiled just one hour and got 23L out, plus there was a litre in the dead space. So that was 18L + 16.8L. Have you double checked what ever jugs or vessels you are using to measure the water? Did you have a nice strong boil? How's your gravity reading?

Also remember when your boiling it will look like more than there actually is in the robobrew, plus the water expansion, but thats only about 4%

Boil seemed to be rolling pretty well.
Im pretty confident in the mug. Not so confident in the Robobrew internal markings.
Ive been boiling for over 90 now and still plenty of wort and reading a bit of the mark
Aiming for 1.051 currently at 1.044

Dont trust the robobrew markings at all, plus my scientific jug was out over 2L by at least 200ml, they cant be trusted, weigh them

Very strange you have that much wort left and so low in OG. How much grain all up did you use?

I think you'd need closer to 5.35kg to get 1.051. 4.8 will get you closer to 1.048 or 1.049 with just an hour boil that is. Who crushed the grain?

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
