Nut Brown Ale #2 - EXTRACT - Coopers

Very easy Nut Brown Ale #2

1.7 kg Coopers Dark Ale Can
1 kg Light Dried Malt Extract
300g Dextrose
200g Crystal Malt 80L (or Joe White Crystal)
Yeast

Steep Crystal Malt in a couple of Litres of water @60c-70c for 30mins
Strain and Rinse with a Litre of Hot Water
Dissolve Can, Dextrose and Malt extract in the grain tea.
Add to fermenter
Top with cold water to 23 litres
Add yeast and ferment at 18c-20c for 10-14 days
Bottle or Keg as usual.

Kit Brew Day Tomorrow, Black Rock Pale ale and number 40 larger brew enhancer by mangrove jacks. And possibly some honey. Yeast US05 ??

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
