The price is about usual for a kit like that, it will make a nice beer not entirely sure it will taste like a SN Pale Ale. Are you picking it up or paying extra to get it posted to you? Because you could probably make a very similar beer from the stuff at your local brew shop even though the ingredients might be slightly different.

Just mucking around in Beersmith, something like this is a bit closer to SN Pale Ale in my opinion. Anything can be changed malt/can wise to suit. Sometimes just grabbing a ready made kit is quick and easy though.

Hold on Gash, you mean to say that Beersmith allows you to build receipes using kit and kilo? I am definitely getting it so :)
