I found the Dublin water supply profile on a site that talks about brewing
www.waterone.org/your-water/water-quality/homebrewing
Then I entered it into this free calculator I often use.
www.ezwatercalculator.com/
Turns out from the calculations for a basic 22 litre IPA brew is 5 g of Gypsum and 5 g of Calcium Chloride into your mash and that's spot on .
No need for any stabilizer but from Gashes research it wont hurt ( I need to read his post about that a bit more) The calc says your ph is a green light between 5.4 and 5.6 but also states there are differing opinions on mash ph (as Gash hinted on in a previous post.) Me personaly I go for 5.2 to 5.3
Cheers mate , im brewing a bitter at the moment , give the two links a go. Take care.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
