Knocked this out today. Everything seemed to go well, and now the countdown begins.

OK, we're at day 10... :woohoo:

Gravity reading yesterday indicated 1012...today bang on 1010. How low will it go do you reckon?

Also cocked up my OG reading as I only used my refractometer, instead of double checking with hydrometer...seemed to be a blurry 1045-1046 (apologies if I missed the target # in the video)

Apart from that, tastes and looks the goods - so that's something!

I dont think it will go much lower, probably done. Just leave it a day or two and should be good to bottle!

Yeah, didn't go any lower. Cold crashed for a week (went to NZ, so had to do something with it while I was gone...), kegged and force carbed yesterday. Initial tasting seemed pretty good! Will be on it tomorrow no doubt...possibly needs a bit more gas..

Ended up not fining it at all - didn't think it needed it.

Appreciate all the help.

Had 2 kegs run out in 3 days (this and a big IPA), so ran this one again - using ingredients from my local homebrew shop this time. FG stopped at 1014 - not sure why....anyway, upped the dry hops to 38G cascasde, 38G Amarillo - cold crashing as we speak - the wait is literally killing me...smelled good, tasted good out of fermenter...

:silly:

Seems to have more bitterness than previous, but didn't pick up a lot more aroma despite the extra dry hopping. Didn't clear as much as the first one, but that's neither here nor there, still looks the goods! Will be trying all grain version of this next, as my burner purchase has allowed me to do full batches.

Got an all grain torpedo on now - will be interesting to see how it goes.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
