Hello,
I'm new to the site and a novice Brewer but going to give this mini mash a go. I wanted to try the 23ltr recipe but there is no original mash water volume or sparge water volume ( they were so precise on the 19ltr recipe) what is the reason for the spot on measurement and is there a way to calculate for different volumes?
My brew shop didn't think he could get any cascade hops is there any thing else you would use?
Thanks for the heads up on the stock pots at big w, $20 a real win.

The Mash is exactly the same, the hop amounts have been raised but are added at the same times as the 19L, just more LDME added to the fermenter and more water! I can write it out clearer if you would like! Cheers

Not to slide off topic, but a quick reply wouldn't let me add pics - Gash, here's the verdict on the Torpedo

Torpedo kegged today - see attached for photos out of fermenter, and first out of forced carbed keg(using Gash's youtube vid as reference)

Efficiency way down(very first BIAB), so only hit about 5.6%, as opposed to 6.92, but that said, still awesome.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
