The galaxy has a lot higher AA% then cascade so will make it a bit more bitter, maybe 10mins and 1 min instead, but yeah you could go half/half no worries!

Hey Gash,

I want to use the coopers tins as they are quite a bit cheaper at the super market than the Blackrock cans at my LHBS. Problem is they are pre-hopped (the un=hopped is dearer) and I'm not sure how to go about working that in with some fresh hop additions

Cheers

the cans are so lightly hopped i don't think it will cause you any problems .. this smelt really clean and good going into the kegs/bottles .. i have a feeling this will be a superb drop .. just now i had to fight the temptation to fast track a keg to the fridge ..

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
