Yes all sorted, after clicking 'open file' in Beersmith the file type must be changed to .xml, then it opens fine! Cheerz Mark

As per my post over at 17crew forum > 17crew.com/forums/index.php/topic,94.msg4781.html#msg4781

Would like to make the Craigtube Porter again, but would like grain substitutions for the Coopers kit(EB) in this recipe.

Is there anyone clued-up enough to help out with this one ??? :)

Thanks in Advance.

I'll start with the YT "shyness" 3 reasons...busy,lazy, and not a ton of brewing BUT I have one to edit and I have a beer milled and ready to brew. so should be back on the YT very Soon.

ok as for the grain bill.

ok listing in pounds and ounces if you need it in grams let me know.
9 lbs 2-row
1.5 lbs crystal 60l
.75 lbs Chocolate (350srm)

Would appreciate grams please ;)

PS: is this grain bill to replace all the other ingredients including the Cooper Kit + LME + DME ??? OR is this only the substitution grains for the English Bitter kit ???

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
