I would like to try and carbonate an IPA in the keg using coopers carbonation drops.Has anyone done this before and if so how many drops would you need for a 19L batch?

hmm interesting! most accurate would be by weight, or at a guess you'd use just over half what you would for bottling.

You'll need to purge oxygen out of the head space in the keg and also whack some pressure on it so the lid gets a good seal, cheers!

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
