finally has there 20 cubic ft oxygen tanks on sale down to 89.99 plus a 20% coupon ,got it out the door
for about $75 dollars(US) and no it's not filled yet that's $30 more. Already have the regulator ,tubing

This is one more thing checked off my "long term do it right home brewing list" B)

I'm full of envy. Good snag. Got a welding supply near by or one of those oxygen generators?

WillypOO I 'am in southern California there's welding supply shops all over ,
plus we have a company called "Air Gas" that supply"s most of the area
those oxygen gens from what little I read/saw are $2000.+ (us) so little
chance of getting one soon. But the way I figure this will last 5 to 10 years,
only using 30 to 60 seconds for each 5/6 gal batch's and less on starters ,so
the $30 ain't going to hurt for now.

Hope your doing well.

Are we talking putting co2 in the tank? Because I think force carbing with o2 would be a mistake.

Some people have a large or sophisticated set up and use an oxygen tank to do the initial oxygenation of the wort before fermentation gets up and running.

Using o2 to power a keg tap would make for skunky beer as well as a potential flame thrower. :woohoo:

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
