Whirlpool at end of boil was created by MrRahneM
I know some people use hop bags to separate hops from the rest of the wort. I use the whirlpool method wich at the end of the boil you stir your wort into a whirlpool and let rest for 10 to 20 minutes. The advantages of whirlpool is that you separate not just the hops but proteins, grain pieces that get through and other solids produce during the boil here is a picture of my successful whirlpool.

Nice , looks like it worked well. It's the best method in my opinion.

Very nice! I should make more of an effort to whirlpool. When do you start to stir, and how long do you stir for?

you want it to sit for 10 to 15 minutes so i would be putting in last hop addition then whirlpooling

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
